Scarf/Shawl

This colorful scarf is fun to knit and wear.

You need to know only the knit stitch to make this, and there is no seaming. You first knit a center panel, then bind off. Then pick up and knit stitches from the previous panel and continue knitting. Repeat this method with occasional color changes.

[CONSTRUCTION]

The scarf is constructed with 9 panels. Each panel is worked flat. Make a center panel (panel 1) first and bind off. Then pick up and knit stitches from the bound-off edge and knit the second panel. Then bind off. Continue working and knitting 3 more panels. Then pick up and knit stitches on the cast-on edge of the center panel and work 4 panels in the other direction.
